The Minister of Canadian Heritage invites you to join the Prime Minister, the Governor General, and thousands of fellow Canadians for a fun and lively street party on Parliament Hill. Join the fun from Noon to 1:30 pm on Saturday July 1st in Ottawa. This year’s show will feature some of Canada’s finest artists from across the country.
Colin James will share the stage with; Ariane Moffatt (Electro-folk/pop), Jesse Cook (Flamenco-jazz fusion),Tanya Tagaq Gillis (Contemporary throat singing, featuring DJ Michael Red) Wil (Electro-acoustic), Annie Villeneuve (Pop rock), Aselin Debison (Rock Pop), Kyle Riabko (Blues/guitar) and Unisong (Youth choir).
Join the party on Parliament Hill, and come celebrate Canada’s 139th birthday! Live national television broadcast and webcast on CBC, CBC Newsworld, Radio-Canada and RDI, and live broadcast on Radio Canada International.
