the Fontanas

Just excited because my pal Keith Scott handed me an advance copy of his first solo project -- the Fontanas. Its unabashed surf guitar power diplayed in all its glory. It sounds huge and its a ton of fun. I'll let you know how you can get it as soon as you can get it. I play on one tune and wish I was on way more!

The Strippers Union tour is over for now and we all are a little bit sad about that. Thanks to everyone who came out and listened and keep checking strippersunion.ca for updates. Rob and I have been adding to that site as much as we can. There will be pieces written by all band members by the end of the week.

I'll see some of you with Colin James at Canada Day in Cloverdale.

Strippers Union:Local 518 will make its national TV debut on "Canada AM" June 21st. Its early in the moring on CTV (that's why they call it AM I guess). Rob & I had a fun promo tour and we're preparing for the shows this week.

I'll be playing with Colin James at the Mississauga Waterfront festival tomorrow and then in Cambrideg Ontario the next day.

HIT THE REQUEST LINES

Dear party faithful,

Yesterday the song "Give Up & Go Away" went to rock radio in Canada. If you all called your local rock radio station and requested "Stripper's Union" it would help. Its not like when you vote NDP or Green Party and your person never gets in. Here things are different. The more "phones" they get the more they play it. Simple. Some of the stations have websites with easy buttons to click. I'll work on getting that information to you. I know first hand that you can try CFOX in Vancouver, Q100 in Victoria, Power 97 in Winnipeg and "the Edge" and Q107 in Toronto. Those are good places to start.

thanks in advance from Rob and myself
